Almost immediately after Beyonce revealed her pregnancy at the MTV Video Music Awards, she had to face nasty allegations that she was faking it. The rumors started when a video of her sitting down for an interview in Australia seemed to show her belly folding in, as if she was wearing a prosthetic belly.

At the time, the superstar chose not to personally respond to the rumors, relying instead on her publicist to shoot them down. While she didn’t dignify the nasty rumors then, this doesn’t mean that she didn’t read the gossip. Showing just how classy she is, she found humor in the scandal. She has just released a video, recorded in September while she was shooting her Countdown music video, which shows her holding up the cover of a magazine that reported on the supposedly fake pregnancy. Beyonce laughingly rubs her very pregnant belly as she repeatedly exclaims the story’s headline, “Oh Baby!” She tells her fans that she’s six months pregnant but has to pretend that her stomach is flat in body suits for the video. The video ends with more shouts of “Oh Baby!”

Beyonce is clearly a woman who’s secure enough to not let others bring her down. Showing everyone that she runs her world, she released a video statement infused with her personality on her own time.
